Hazel Irene Folks, 88, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018.
Born Dec. 26, 1929 in Wester City, Ia., to Roscoe and Laura Cook, she loved her family and welcomed many family members and friends into her home at "Pine Tree Ranch".
A member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Wausaukee, she faithfully served and showed Christ's love to others.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James; two brothers, Richard Cook and Willis Cook and three sisters, Esther Wise, Annie Petrusson and Ruth Sjoquist.
She is survived by two brothers, Lloyd (Ruth) Cook and Stanley Cook; two sisters, Julie McFadden and Pat Betts and 38 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church in Wausaukee on Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m. until time of a Celebration of Life Service at 1 p.m., with Pastor Brian Sjoquist officiating, followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Wausaukee. A dinner will be held for family and friends after the burial at Immanuel Church. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
