Phyllis H. (Hannon) Fifarek, 86, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Bay Area Medical Center, with family by her side.
Born Nov. 25, 1931 in Menominee, Mi., to the late Edwin and Mary (Adams) Hannon, she married Edward "Edo" Fifarek on June 24, 1950 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Menominee and he preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 2012. She worked as a bar tender at several bars in the area.
A member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, she loved her family, took good care of them and enjoyed cooking for them.
Survivors include three daughters, Sherry (Wally) Jacques, Debby (Jerry) Bayerl and Bonnie (Roger Rolkosky) Fifarek; a son, Steve (Tina) Fifarek; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Fifarek; a son-in-law, Bill Jensen; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, David; two sisters and three brothers.
Family received friends at Anderson Kell Funeral Home in Menominee on Monday, March 26 from 4 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 6 p.m. Deacon Vince Beckley officiated with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee.
