Lois Marilyn (Wilson) Neuman, 86, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Oconto Falls.
Born Dec. 18, 1931 in Underhill, to the late Thomas and Fredia (Froemming) Wilson, she attended local schools and graduated from Gillett High School in 1949. She married Allen Neuman on April 21, 1951 at the former Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gillett. She worked as a waitress, store clerk and a bank teller.
She enjoyed bowling, was an active member of Faith United Lutheran Church and Ladies Aide and was an avid Brewers fan. A great mom and grandmother, she will be missed.
She is survived by a daughter, Joy (Paul) Schmidt of Oconto Falls; a son, Robert "Bob" (Wanda) Neumann of Green Bay; a sister, Rachel (the late John) Houk of Cambridge; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and other other relatives and friends.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,Allen; a son, Mark Neuman; two infants, Marilyn and Michael and two brothers, Morris (Bernice) Wilson and Bob (Joyce) Wilson.
Memorial visitation will be held at Faith United Lutheran Church, 11465 Old U, Gillett on Thursday, April 5 from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Rev. John Laatsch will officiate with interment in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to the church at the above address or to Unity Hospice. Legacy Funeral Chapel of Gillett is assisting the family with arrangements.
