Gary F. Doyen, 58, of Daggett, Mi., passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at his home.
Born Oct. 24, 1959 in Menominee, Mi., to the late John and Patricia (Dombrowski) Doyen, he worked as a certified welder in the construction trade for many years. After retiring from welding and living in many areas, he moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where he built his home.
A jack of all trades, he was also an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, drawing, art work, gardening, golfing and bowling. He loved to cook and was currently employed at Tom's Market in Carney, Mi.
Survivors include two sons, Adam (Rebecca) of Two Rivers and Zachary of Sun Prairie; a sister, Lori (David) Brusky of Kewaunee; a brother, Steve (Cindy) of Birchwood; nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Thorval Franson.
Visitation will be held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson, Mi. on Saturday, April 21 from 11 a.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 2 p.m. A memorial fund has been established and expressions of sympathy can be directed to Adam Doyen.
