Peter Sohr, 86, of Daggett, Mi., passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers.
Born Jan. 29, 1932 in Daggett, to the late John and Elizabeth (Vekkel) Sohr Sr., he graduated from Stephenson High School in 1949 and worked as a Logger and Farmer. He enjoyed gardening and furniture refinishing.
He is survived by his wife, Edna; five daughters, Valerie (Dan) Parrish of Carney, Mi., Arlette (Tony) Lindstrom of Wallace, Mi., Leanne (Bert) Truitt of Stephenson, Mi., Sandra (Jeff) Swanson of Marinette, Wis and Lynette (Ray) Mathias of Oconto; two sons, Perry (Diane Gibson) Sohr and Francis (Kathy) Sohr, both of Menominee; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Troy Parrish and Tim Sohr; two brothers, John Sohr Jr. and Joseph Sohr and a sister, Anna Haag.
Visitation will be held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson on Monday, May 21 from 3 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 5 p.m. Bert Truitt will officiate with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Banet.
