Irvin L. Tachick, 84, of Pound, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
Born Sept. 1, 1933, to the late Gust and Lucille Tachick, he married Carolyn Kostreva on Sept. 18, 1954 and they had seven children.
He served his Savior in music through singing, piano, organ and accordion and dairy farmed for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in Wisconsin and Canada and picking berries.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carolyn; seven children, Fay Pusick, Sharon (Mitch) Gusick, Stephen (Edith) Tachick, Candace Bakken, Phillip Tachick, Cora (Jim) Weissgerber and Timothy (Amy) Tachick; 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Ron Pusick; a daughter-in-law, Tammie Tachick and two sisters, Bernice and Lois.
Friends called at Hillside Assembly of God North in Pound on Tuesday, May 22 from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Pastor Paul Carlson and Pastor Herb Kolenda officiated with burial in First Baptist Cemetery. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette assisted the family with arrangements.
