Carol "Pat (Lentz) Nordquist, 84, formerly of Carbondale, Mi., passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Peshtigo after a yearlong battle with cancer.
Born Aug. 20, 1933 in Menominee, Mi., to the late William and Agnes (Boehm) Lentz, she married John Nordquist Sr. on June 13, 1953 in Menominee and he preceded her in death on April 1, 1999.
A homemaker, she worked at Montgomery Wards and later enjoyed an administrative position with the Michigan State Police.
She enjoyed polka dancing, casino trips, cardinals, baking, canning, sewing, and following local sports along with the Brewers and the Packers, but mostly loved Allan Jackson music and a cruise she went on with family members. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Gail (Cleland) Methner of Wallace, Mi., Cheryl (Michael) Mikus of Menominee, Nancy (Troy) Process of Pound and Pattie (Todd) LaLonde of Little Suamico; four sons, Richard (Debbie) of Suamico, John Jr. (Sharon) of Parrish, Fla., Daniel (Susie) of Marinette and Robert (Sharon) of Menominee; 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, William and James Lentz and an an infant son.
Private services will be held with burial in Birch Creek Cemetery. Anderson Kell Funeral Home of Menominee is assisting the family with arrangements.
