Patricia A. (Lysakowski) Johnston, 88, of Marinette passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Luther Home.
Born Jan. 16, 1930, to the late Stanley and Elizabeth (Cassidy) Lysakowski in Escanaba, Mi., she graduated from Menominee High School in 1948 and worked at Lundgren's Drug store while in school. On June 26, 1948, she married William Johnston at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Menominee, Mi. She worked at Schussler's Supper Club for 17 years, the EagleHerald for a few years and at Ace Hardware while wintering in Florida.
A member of Holy Family Parish, she also belonged to the Altar Society, Card Club, St. Vincent de Paul and a Bike Club.
She enjoyed, gardening, fishing, knitting, sewing, playing piano, riding her bicycle and time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, William of Marinette; six children, Donna (Ernest) Pintarelli of Wausaukee, Sandy (Chris) Beyler of Porterfield, Bill Johnston of Monroe, Va., Catherine (Jeff) Kapla of Ann Arbor, Mi., Joseph A. (Connie L.) Johnston and Patti (Phil) Johnston, both of Marinette; a brother, Donald (Mary) Lyskowski of Newaygo, Mi.; a sister, Geraldine Pelner of Rochester, Mn.; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Susan; a brother, John; a grandson, Kenneth Flood, Jr. and a great-grandson, Benjamin Chance Hawes.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette on Friday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at noon at Holy Family Parish"Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Rev. Celestine Byekwaso will officiate with burial in Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Marinette.
