Charles W. Hatton, 69, of Wallace, Mi., passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
Born Sept. 26, 1948 in Waukegan, Ill., to the late Armand and Ina Hatton, he graduated from high school in 1968 and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked a number of jobs as a mechanic in the Illinois area until moving to Wallace in 1996, where he continued to work at various locations.
He enjoyed fixing and making things and loved to be outdoors and spend time fishing.
He is survived by a son, William (Brooke) Hatton of Marinette; a grandson; two sisters, Judy Powers of Kenosha and Ruth C. Gregory of Bronston, Ky.; many nieces and nephews and former wife, Mary Ellen Hatton of Porterfield, with whom he maintained a continual friendship with.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia A. Watson.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Walsh, with Rev. Jess Berol officiating. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
