Marsha A. (Johnson) Lindgren, 83, of Janesville, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at Huntington Place.
Born Aug. 14, 1934 in Springfield, S.D., to Alfred and Letty Lucille (Dempster) Johnson, she married Ronald Lindgren in Yankton, S.D. on Oct. 18, 1955 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 2017 after 62 years together.
She lived in Marinette for 35 years before moving to Janesville. She worked at Stephenson National Bank in Marinette, was a member of the Marinette Women's Club and Bridge Club and volunteered for the Hospital Auxiliary in Beloit.
She enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, technology classes and visiting her family across the country, but mostly loved hosting Holidays for family.
She is survived by four children, Roni Ann Hardee of High Point, N.C., Tami Lee (Mike) Fischer of Maple Grove, Mn., Chuck (Julie) Lindgren of Janesville and John (Shari) Lindgren of Coto de Caza, Ca.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Myrna Fitzgerald of Janesville; four nieces and a sister-in-law, Sharon Boyd.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald.
Visitation was held at Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory on Tuesday, June 5 from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service at noon. Jerry Amstutz officiated with interment in Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Alzheimer's Association or Agrace Hospice.
