Lila M. (Scheffen) Hallada, 88, of Two Rivers, passed away Saturday morning, June 2, 2018 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center in Manitowoc.
Born April 2, 1930 in Oconto, to the late Lawrence and Lillian (McMonagle) Scheffen, she attended Lena High School. She married LeRoy Hallada at St. Lukes in Two Rivers on July 28, 1956 and he preceded her in death on April 11, 2008.
Together, they enjoyed going to polka dances and camping at Cedar Valley Campground. She worked at Paragon Electric for 20 years, retiring in 1989. She loved time with her family and friends and the breakfast club ladies.
Survivors include three children, Brian Hallada (Rhonda), Texas, Cindy Hallada, Two Rivers and Connie (Terry) Fiedler, Whitelaw; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Delores Scheffen; a brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Dale (Audrey) Hallada and Sandy Hallada; nieces,; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Hallada; her parents; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert Scheffen and Leslie (Angie) Scheffen; two brothers-in-law, Richard Hallada and Harold Hallada and other relatives and friends.
Family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Two Rivers on Friday, June 8 from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tom Reynebeau officiating. Burial will be in Knollwood Mausoleum in the Town of Kossuth. The Klein and Stangel Funeral Home of Two Rivers is assisting the family with arrangements.
