Peter J. Guerino, 91, of Amberg, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at home with family at his side.
Born Nov. 27, 1926 in Waukesha, to the late Frank and Ardis (Barchent) Guerino, he served in the United States Navy during World War II. He married Judith Orgas and they celebrated 56 years of marriage until her passing on July 24, 2013.
He worked at Spring City Salvage Yard for many years, was an avid bowler and coached his daughter's Softball Team for 15 years. He was known as the "Executive Maintenance Man" at the Pike Pioneer, was a great beverage counselor at the Yellow Front in Waukesha and was known as "Peter the Hawk". He enjoyed working in his woodshed and watching the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by six daughters, Stephanie Bieliauskas, Denice Ferree, Michelle (Wayne) Schultz, Gina (Dennis), Nicole and Jodi Guerino; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith; a son, James; a grandson, Peter and a sister, Helen.
No services will be held. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family.
