Issue Date: July 5, 2018
Casey Blom and her husband, Lief have purchased the Village Pharmacy in Coleman from Jeff and Karen Hines, effective July 1. Casey has worked at Village Pharmacy since January of 2017 and has been a pharmacist since 2005. She is originally from the Crivitz area and thought the time was right to own her own pharmacy.
Casey said no major changes are planned and she will continue to provide the same high level of service customers of Village Pharmacy have come to know and expect. Casey's husband, Lief has a construction business. Together they have have three children ages 7, 3 and 2. Her parents are Jim and Bev Rock from the Coleman and Pound area.
Jeff and Karen Hines both pharmacists, live in Menominee, MI. have owned Village Pharmacy since it opened in November of 2001. They plan to semi-retire, but Jeff will still be available to work whenever Casey needs help. Jeff said Coleman is a great community and have supported us well over the past 17 plus years. "I met a lot of wonderful people and wish Casey and Lief the best," he added.
