Teressa D. Weiland, 48, of Marinette, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born June 6, 1970 in St. Joseph, Mi., she spent her early life there with her grandparents where she learned how to cook and took many trips. Shortly after high school, she settled down and started a family.
She enjoyed being a home maker, but mostly being a mother, often going to parks, libraries, cooking and hand sewing clothes and blankets for her children.
She lived in many parts of Lower Michigan, Oklahoma and later years in Wisconsin. She was an avid animal lover. In recent years her hobbies included hunting, gardening, crafting and spending time outside with her husband and her family at their cabin.
She is survived by her husband, William Weiland; her mother, Sheila (Tim) Holt; her father, Frank L. Schoenfelt; six children, Jeremy (Katy) Wolford, Ashley (Brett) Wandsnider, Megan Wolford, Zachary Dixon, Steven Dixon and Bently Seymour; two grandchildren and many close friends and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Erma Shoenfelt and Vernon and Opal Miller.
Visitation will be held at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Wednesday, July 18 from 4 p.m. until time of services at 6 p.m. An additional Memorial Service will be held at First Missionary Baptist Church in Coloma, Mi. on Saturday, July 28 at 2 p.m.
