National Night Out Set for Aug. 7th

The City of Marinette's "National Night Out" will be held Tuesday, Aug. 7 on Stephenson Island from 4 to 8 p.m. Many displays will be available including Enstrom Helicopter, Emergency Vehicles, Informational Displays, K-9 Demonstrations, Fire Safety House, DAR Boys & Girls Club Duck Race, Air Jumper, slide, games, food, prizes, waterball tournament for ages 8-14, and children 12 and under have a chance to win a bike.
The event is sponsored by The Crime Prevention Unit of the Marinette Police Department.
There will be no parking on the island. A bus shuttle will be available from Jack's Fresh Market in Menominee to the Island by Westlund Bus Lines.
Schedule includes 4-8 p.m. games and bouncers, 6:30-8:30 p.m. music, 4:30 p.m. K-9 Demo, 4 p.m. kids waterball tournament, 4 p.m. Enstrom Helicopter lands, 6:30 p.m. DAR Boys & Girls Duck Race, and 6 p.m. bike giveaway.
