Cindy S. Cole, 59, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born June 10, 1959, to James and Bernice Cole of Gladstone, Mi., she graduated from Gladstone High School in 1977 and worked at Schussler's Supper Club for nearly 20 years until they closed. Most recently, she worked at Northpoint Behavioral Health for many years in Menominee until May 2018 when she was unable to due to her illness.
Her greatest pleasure was time with her four granddaughters. She loved spending time with friends and family, enjoyed cooking, gardening and attending many activities that her children and grandchildren were in.
She is survived by two children, Taylor Rye (partner, Dan Zimanek) of Menominee and Amanda Jo (Dan) Brissette of Peshtigo with his family and their four daughters, Maysen (12), Camryn (10), Fynnlee (3) and Ellyette (2); siblings throughout the country, Linda (Terry) Thorsen, Carol Becker, Ron (Sally) Becker, Allen Lavigne and Judy McDonald; many nieces and nephews and close friend, Lori Olson who has been there for her for many years, especially the last two years.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lana (Cole) Sullivan.
Visitation for friends and family will be at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Wednesday, Aug. 15 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
