Edward A. Ochs, 85, passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018 at his home.
Born Nov. 12, 1932 in Peshtigo, to George and Katherine (Merschdorf) Ochs, he served two years in the United States Army during the Korean War. He met Sandra Lee Olson and they married on Aug. 30, 1958.
They enjoyed 60 years together and raised three children. He was active in the paper industry in management and sales, was involved in the Free Masons Lodge #128, Wisconsin Rapids, Melody Masonic Lodge #2, Platteville and the Zor Shriners, Madison. A wonderful family man, he was loved by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; three children, Jay, Paul (Jana) and Kara Lee Ochs; 10 grandchildren; four siblings, Al (Susie), George (Sandra), Marty (Liz) and Judy Ochs and many other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a younger brother.
