Meho Hukarevic, Jr., 48, of Wallace, Mi., passed away Monday Sept. 3, 2018 at his home.
Born Aug. 8, 1970 in Milwaukee, to the late Janet Kielma-Turner and Meho Hukarevic Sr., he graduated from Stephenson High School in 1988. He worked at Ruleau Brothers and then at Waupaca Foundry as a sample coordinator for over 25 years.
For many years, he worked building the home of his dreams, going straight from work to working on the house. He had many talents and could do anything.
Proud of his daughter, he looked forward to watching her play sports, especially volleyball, was excited when she got accepted into the University of Michigan and looked forward to seeing her accomplishments in the coming years. He will be remembered by many as a charismatic funny guy who was the life of the party.
He is survived by his fiancée, Kristy Olsen; a daughter, Kaylee Hukarevic; his father, Meho Hukarevic Sr.; his buddy, Cuko; two uncles, Latif (Sandra) Hukarevic Sr. and Sero Selimovic; two aunts, Hatidza Hukarevic-Green (Robert) and Latifa Kaulauzovic (Mesud); cousins, Latif Hukarevic Jr. (Nadine), Heather Rose, Latif Tyler, Serena Sedefa Hukarevic, Jennifer Dibble (Noah), Safet Selimovic, Safeta Selimovic (Paul), Jessica, Adem, Kelly, Zachery and Laila and many more cousins in Europe and Linda Olsen, Heather Olsen (Casey Dayle) and Mackenzie.
In addition to his mother, Janet, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Saban and Fata Hukarevic and Jerry Olsen.
A Celebration of Life was held at his home in Wallace on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 2 p.m. until the evening. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home of Stephenson assisted the family with arrangements.
