Barbara Sue (Lentz) Hohnholz, 72, of Peshtigo, formerly of Ocala, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018 at Rennes Health Care Center-West in Peshtigo.
Born Dec. 22, 1945, to the late Oscar and Patricia (Benton) Lentz, she worked as a waitress at the Milwaukee Athletic Club where she met her future husband, Willi Hohnholz. They married in 1994 in Milwaukee where they resided until moving to Ocala, Fla. in 1996.
They enjoyed traveling to his homeland in Germany and just traveling in general. After his death in 2014, she relocated to Peshtigo.
Surviving are three brothers, Darrell Lentz, Oscar "Butch" Lentz and Steven Lentz; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Lentz.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home, 235 E. Main St., Coleman on Thursday, Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Pastor Mark Kostreva will officiate with burial in First Baptist Cemetery in Pound.
