Kari Ann Hatfield, 62, of Marinette passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2018 at her home.
Born Nov. 11, 1955, in Waukesha, to Charles Franta and Mary (Clark) Sterrett, she grew up in Waukesha and later moved to Marinette. She married Herbert Hatfield on Nov. 23, 2011 in Cortez, Co.
She enjoyed sewing, collected teddy bears, was a loyal Vikings fan (though that doesn't run in the family) and loved time with family.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert Hatfield of Marinette; three daughters, Christine (Joe) Branstrom and Tina (Jeff) Veriha, both of Marinette and Mistie (Dave) Poetzl of Menominee, Mi.; a step-daughter, Shelly Vassallo; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Johnny Franta and Buster (Charles) Franta, both of Waukesha and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Franta.
A memorial gathering will be held at her daughter's home on Friday, Sept. 21 at 4 p.m. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
