THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Over 100 Students Given Supplies
Issue Date: October 4, 2018
Wausaukee--Ranger City Marketplace along with Merrill Distributing and Trig's Smokehouse again sponsored a brat fry to benefit Wausaukee's Back To School Program on Saturday, Sept. 22nd. Pictured from left are Sandy Wojcik and Betty Figas from the Wausaukee Back To School Program and Michelle Grant of Ranger City Marketplace.
The Program was established in 2015 and this year the program helped families in need by providing school supplies and hygiene products for over 100 Wausaukee school students.
Brats, chips and beverages were available for purchase along with 21 bucket raffles. Sponsors for raffles were Ranger City Marketplace and their employees, Stephenson National Bank, Calm Outdoors and the Wausaukee Ice Fishing Team, Cat Country 95.1, Ranger Family Restaurant, Salon 615, The Ice Cream Station, Wausaukee Ranger Booster Club, Kara's Salon & Spa, The Message Community Church and Dan & Tim's Restaurant.
All food and beverages were donated by The Marketplace, employees, Merrill Distributing and Trig's Smokehouse. This allowed every penny collected at the brat fry to go toward this great local program.
