Barbara A. (Linsmeier) White, 73, of Marinette passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2018 at BAMC surrounded by her children.
Born July 15, 1945 in Menominee, Mi., to the late Elmer and Lois (Everson) Linsmeier, she graduated from Menominee High School. She married Emil White on Aug. 10, 1963 in Birch Creek and he preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 2006.
She loved and was proud of her children and grandchildren, was a huge Packers and NASCAR fan and devoted Catholic. She enjoyed outings with her friends at Northland Village, crossword puzzles, was an avid reader, loved her ginger ale and was proud of her 16 years of sobriety.
She is survived by two sons, Jim "Jamie" (Erin) White of New Market, Md. and Rob (LeAnne Short) White of Rice Lake; two daughters, Betsy White of Appleton and Suzy (Robert Tews) White of Waupaca; two brothers, Elmer (Sue) Linsmeier and Joe (Laurie) Linsmeier, both of Menominee; three sisters, Pat Sebero of Peshtigo and Linda (John) Jaques and Marie (Jim) Dellisse, both of Menominee and five grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emil; a daughter-in-law, Diane and a brother, David Linsmeier.
A Funeral Mass was held at Holy Redeemer Church in Birch Creek on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Michael Ocran officiating. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette assisted the family with arrangements. A Memorial fund for Ovarian Cancer was established.
