Retta "Rita" L. (Lyle) Rousseau, 76, of Livonia, Mi. and Pembine, passed away Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.
Born March 27, 1942 in Detroit, Mi., to the late R. Lee and Fernita (Cline) Lyle, she grew up in the Detroit area and graduated from Mumford High School in 1960. She worked in the Metro Detroit area as an insurance agent from 1965 until retiring in 2012. In 2018, she purchased a future retirement home in the Pembine area to be closer to her son.
She enjoyed touring, taking adventures, wildlife, her cats, and especially time with her family, two grandchildren and great-grandson.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Rousseau; a son, Michael (Sharleen) Anderson, Pembine; two brothers, Robert (Lois) Lyle, St. Claire, Mi. and their children and Roger (Pat) Lyle, Appleton; a sister, Reenae Tulip, Lower Michigan, and her children; two grandchildren; a great-grandson; many special cousins, including, Teri, Mary and Ed Cline and an aunt and uncle, Bonnie and Ronald Cline, Escondido, Ca.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron Mountain is assisting the family.
