Linda Mae (Nelson) O'Leary, 62, passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018.
Born April 24, 1956 in Menominee, Mi., to Robert Lee and Lorraine Mae (Baribeau) Nelson, she attended school in Marinette, and graduated in 1974. On Aug. 2, 1980, she married her soul mate and best friend, Kenneth M O'Leary.
She drove bus for Valders school district and was also the Administrative Assistant for the bus company. In 2000 she worked as an assistant for Ralph Gries and later Randy Pingel, both agents for Rural Mutual Insurance Company.
Her grandchildren meant the world to her and being grandma was her greatest joy, along with family, that's what life was all about.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; a son, Jim O'Leary (special friend, Stephanie Leiteritz and her three children); two grandchildren; her mother, Lorraine Nelson of Marinette; two sisters, Nancy (Kenny) Sallee of Oconto and Donna (Mark) Stanke of Marinette; two brothers, Wayne (Vanessa) Nelson of Bellefontaine, Oh. and David (Barb) Nelson of Peshtigo; the mother of her grandchildren, Gretchen Kozaczuk; a sister-in-law, Carolyn O'Leary; aunts; an uncle; nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Nelson; in-laws, Wilson O'Leary and Adeline Senecal; two brothers-in-law, Bill Benchley and Thomas O'Leary and a sister-in-law Karen O'Leary.
Cremation has taken place and burial will be held at a later date in Faith Lutheran West Cemetery.
Pfeffer Funeral Home and All-Care Cremation Center of Manitowoc assisted the family.
