Elizabeth A. (Blanchette) Mullins, 90, of Marinette passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 at the Luther Home.
Born Dec. 31, 1927 at home in Marinette, to the late Victor and Sadie (Therriault) Blanchette, she graduated from Marinette High School in 1948 and married Donald Mullins on Sept. 4, 1948, at St. Joseph's Church in Marinette.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends, had many talents including, seamstress, upholstery, carpentry and gardening. She loved to barbeque, bowling and the Packers.
A member of Holy Family Parish, she also belonged to the Altar Society, the VFW and the M & M Bowling Association, where she was honored in its Hall of Fame.
She was loved by her large family and loved all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by many friends and will be remembered for her sense of humor, warm smile and for being a special person filled with love.
She is survived by two daughters, Katherine (Mike) Neubert of Marinette and Karen (Patrick) Mullins of Peshtigo; a son Jeffrey (Penny) Mullins of Menominee; a daughter-in-law, Dorrie Mullins of Marinette; three sisters, Ethel Leblanc, Shirley Konell and Janet (Mike) Wahl; 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren;
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; two sons, Kenneth and Richard; a grandson, Keith Neubert; three brothers, Joe, Richard and an infant brother, James Blanchette and two sisters, identical twin sister, Pearl Tessmer and Lorraine Corey.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette on Saturday Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at noon. Rev. Celestine Byekwaso will officiate followed by a lunch at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Marinette.
