Viola E. (Borths) Anderson, 96, of Marinette, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018.
Born June 11, 1922 in the Town of Grover, to Walter and Flora (Seewald) Borths, she attended the Wolfe and Evergreen schools in the Coleman, Peshtigo area. She worked at Boreal Glove Factory for 10 years before marrying Dale A. Anderson on July 14, 1951 at Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo.
She recently was the oldest member of Zion Lutheran Church in Marinette. She enjoyed playing cards, card club, walking, time outdoors, shopping, going out to eat and time with family, friends and the dogs. She was sweet, positive, and funny.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Anderson and Cindy (Scott) Marineau; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dale; two infant daughters, Susan and Sandra; her step-father, Fred (Lydia and Esther) Buss; an infant sister, Ardina; a brother, Myron (Helen) Borths; a step-sister, Betty (Al) Maertz and two step-brothers, Willard (Mary) Buss and Eugene (Lucille) Buss.
Private services were held with the assistance of Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home.
