Charles "Chuck" Burcham, 87, of Crivitz, passed away on November 13, 2018 with close friends by his side.
He was born to the late Margaret McVane and Earl Burcham on September 8, 1931. He graduated from Crivitz High School. After School, Chuck joined the United States Army and served in the Korean War for 2 years.
After serving his country, Chuck moved back to Crivitz. Chuck worked for a dairy and loved to deliver milk and enjoyed his customers. He also worked at Witt Auto until retirement.
Chuck was an avid Hunter and Fisherman. He loved running dogs for bear and raccoon. He was a member of the American Legion, Knights of Columbus and he supported and worked with the Special Olympics.
He is survived by one brother, Joseph Burcham; many Step-Children; many nieces and nephews and longtime close family friend, Cedric Ward.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille in 1983; his second wife, Marlene in 2009 and one sister, Dorothy Sarwas.
Relatives and friends will welcome you at the Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home on Tuesday November 27th from 3-6 pm. The service will be at 6pm with Father Frederick Sserugga officiating. Chuck will be laid to rest at the Forest Home Cemetery in Crivitz following the Service. A special thanks to NEWCare Nursing Home, Bay Area Medical Center and Unity Hospice for great care of Charles.
