Mabel Ann (Berger) Eichhorn, 87, of Carney, Mi., passed away Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018 at home. Born July 11, 1931 in Bagley, Mi., to the late Alfred and Emma (Wagner) Berger, she graduated from Stephenson High School in 1949. She married George Eichhorn on June 10, 1950 at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Nadeau and worked for Frigo Cheese for 21 years.
She enjoyed playing bingo, time in her garden, growing flowers and was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, St. Anne's Society, West Bagley Homemakers and the Carney American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, George; a granddaughter; five great grandchildren; a sister, Lucille (Jim) Douglas and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Curt, John and Joe; a granddaughter, Jolene Eichhorn; a brother, Charles Berger and two sisters,Virginia Schetter and Marion Verbisky.
Family will receive friends at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Nadeau on Saturday Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with Fr. Jacek Wtyklo officiating, followed by a luncheon in the Church hall. Burial will be in Nadeau Township Cemetery in Spring. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home of Stephenson is assisting the family with arrangements.
