Paul D. Ecker, 59, of Marinette, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 at home after a battle with cancer.
Born Aug. 30, 1959, to the late Henry and Margaret (Danahue) Ecker in Baltimore, Md., at age six his family moved to Florida and at age 10, they moved to Michigan. He graduated from Norway High School and worked at Loadall, Woodock Supply and United Abrasive.
He loved kayaking, farming, the outdoors and was a volunteer fireman for Hermansville and Meyer Township.
He is survived by his fiancé, Suzette Boettcher of Marinette; four sons, Mike (Aimee) Cousineau, Paul Ecker II, Derek Ecker and Hunter Ecker; a daughter, Tiffany Ecker; a brother, Howard (Catherine) Ecker; two sisters, Linda (Gene) Raber and Sherry Ecker; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents and a daughter, Namoi.
Private funeral services will be held at Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette.
