Patrick C. Blohowiak, 67, of Pulaski, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2018.
Born Feb. 23, 1951 in Green Bay to George and Hazel (Stender) Blohowiak, he grew up in Kunesh and served in the United States Army Reserves. On March 7, 1970, he married Kathleen Matuszak and they moved to Peshtigo in 1982, where they raised their family. He drove for Roadway for about 40 years.
He participated in trap shooting in Kunesh, enjoyed deer, pheasant and rabbit hunting, fishing, bowled for 15 years and liked taking care of the flower beds in his yard.
His grandchildren were important to him and he made snow forts for the kids and raked leaves into piles for them to play in.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra (John) Fragassi and Lisa Garcia; four grandchildren; five siblings, Michael (Linda) Blohowiak, Mary (Tim) Staszak, Amy (Craig) Hewitt, Paula Blohowiak and Tim (Gail) Blohowiak; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Kathleen J. (Matuszak) Blohowiak; two children, Jean and Joan Blohowiak and a brother, Peter Blohowiak
Friends are invited to gather at Marnocha Funeral Home in Pulaski on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 11 a.m.until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M. will officiate followed by Military Honors by the Pulaski area Veterans. Burial will take place in Kunesh Cemetery in Spring.
