Dog Licenses Necessary in Town Wausaukee

Wausaukee-Tom Olson from FABICK CAT reported on the 2010 CAT Road Grader that was brought to the town for the board and road crew to look over and test operate. Supervisor Bob Jicha made a motion to purchase the Grader for $149,000 less $7000 trade-in for a total of $142,000. The board approved.
Steve Coron, Sales Executive and Darrell Finley, Operation Manager for Great American Disposal addressed the Board with new contract proposal effective Jan. 1. The board accepted a one year contract. Great American Disposal will return in September on updating.
Great American Disposal also stated they have decided to go with a simpler and clean way to run their holiday schedules. Going forward GAD will be closed on major holidays and run one day late through Saturday of the holiday week. If the Town of Wausaukee scheduled pickup falls in a holiday week then town garbage will be picked up on Friday
The Town Board discussed redistributing money to the equipment fund. There was no action but Jicha will research options for the web page through Wisconsin Towns Association.
Chairman Jeff Engelmann opened discussion on purchasing gravel for next year but the board decided not to move on the purchase at this time.
Treasurer Sally Hultquist will post notice that dog licenses are required in the Town of Wausaukee, per State Statute. The treasurer will be available to issue dog licenses at the Wausaukee Town Hall on, Jan. 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 10 am to noon. Fee for spayed or neutered dogs is $3 and for dogs that are not spayed or neutered fee is $8. A multiple Dog License is required if more than three dogs are on a single property. Bring proof of rabies vaccination for each dog.
The Towns Association meeting will be at Town of Wausaukee Hall on Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. Board agreed to purchase Plat books to have for sale in the Clerk's office.
Board members present at the Dec. 11 meeting at 7 p.m. in the Wausaukee Town Hall were Chair Engelmann, Jicha, Sup. 2 David Tomasino, Taylor, Hultquist, and Clerk Cheryl Stumbris. Sup. 3 Kurt Stumbris was absent.
Present were Jack Zore, Bob Wesolowski,Steve Coron, Darrell Finley, Tom Olson.
Minutes were approved.
The Financial Report showed Nov. 30 balance in checking of $26,781 and General Account $198,415.53.
Vouchers were reviewed by all board members and approved.
