Deloris A. (Brault) Vandermoss, 88 of Kewaunee passed away Friday, Dec. 15, 2018 at the Atrium Acute Care Center of Kewaunee.
Born Feb. 24, 1930 in Niagara, to the late Derick and Martha (Thomson) Brault, she graduated from Niagara High School and attended Milwaukee Business School. She worked at Green Bay Soap Co. until marrying James R. Vandermoss on May 30, 1953 and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2014.
Known for her home style cooking, her family's favorites were ravioli, mock chicken legs and pasties. Her pasties were sold at Tom's Pastry Shop in Kewaunee.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ron Peterson, DePere; three sons and daughters-in-law: Dale "Whitey" (Robin) Vandermoss, Ernie (Kim) Vandermoss and Mike (Sally) Vandermoss, all of Kewaunee; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Audrey Brault, Neenah; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gordy and Lily Vandermoss, Suamico and a sister-in-law, Gloria Vandermoss, Menasha.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Emerson Fetzer; a brother, Fabian Brault and Johanna (John) Miller; Audrey (Frank) Bilski and Elaine (Stuart) Gunville.
Friends called at St. Hedwig Church in East Krok on Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 9:30 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. by Fr. Dennis Drury. Burial was in Carlton Volunteer Cemetery. Buchanan Funeral Home of Kewaunee assisted the family.
