Enid Blythe (Rishel) Tousey, 86, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 at her granddaughter, Jennepher's home in Weyauwega surrounded by family.
Born Feb. 27, 1932, to the late Ralph and Winnie (McRae) Rishel, she was raised in Wausaukee and graduated from Wausaukee High School in 1950. She married Ervin "Smokey" Tousey on Sept. 9, 1950 and they owned many businesses including Tousey's Restaurant in Suring. Upon retirement they enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Texas.
Including her parents, she is survived by four children, Michael Tousey of Gillett, William "Bill" Tousey of Oconto, Winnie Souza of Lathrop, Ca. and Paul (Wendy) Tousey of Castile, N.Y.; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin "Smokey" Tousey; two sons, Gene "Bud" and John Tousey; a brother, Ralph Rishel and a sister, Ardith Biernasz.
Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Saturday, Dec. 22 from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at noon. Burial will be next to her husband in Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano.
