Ernestine "Tina" M. (Boerner) Pogrant, 91, of Marinette passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018.
Born April 27, 1927 in Menominee, to the late Ernest and Margaret (Neisius) Boerner, she graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in 1945 and then worked at the Milwaukee Glove Company. On May 3, 1947, she married Keith Pogrant in Marinette and he preceded her in death on Oct. 30, 1990.
She enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, baking and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, but loved time with family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons, Gregory of Kaukauna, Bruce of Marinette and Scott (Trudy) of Menominee; five daughters, Marcia (Mike) Barrette, Karen Caylor and Kym Pogrant, all of Menominee, Cheryl (Ken) Palmer of Green Bay and Sheila (Terry) Knutson of Marinette; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren with one on the way.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard and son-in-law, Gary Caylor.
Visitation was held at Thielen Funeral Home on Sunday, Dec. 23 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with funeral services at 3 p.m. Deacon Steve Gretzinger officiated with burial in Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette.
