M&M Stingrays Take To The Pool in Oshkosh

The M&M Stingray swim team competed at the Oshkosh Swim Series Winter Splashfest hosted by the Fox Valley Wave Swim Club over the weekend.
With 450 swimmers total, the Stingrays brought 17, ending with 56 personal best times, which coach Lenny Sipple said were very good times for this time of year.
"With the way all the swimmers swam this past weekend, they all stood out," Sipple said.
Four Stingray swimmers finished in the top 10 over the weekend, with a couple doing so in multiple events.
Maija Carriveau won the mixed 100 freestyle with a time of 25.89 seconds. She also had three top-three finishes in the mixed 100 backstroke (1:05.14), mixed 200 back (2:23.98) and mixed 100 free (58.52).
Alexandra Mayhew was second in the mixed 100 backstroke as well with a time of 1:11.10.
Mary Mayhew was ninth in the mixed 50 fly (31.37).
Maria Park competed in eight events, taking four top-10 finishes. She was fifth in the mixed 100 backstroke (27:04), sixth in the mixed 200 backstroke (2:28.97) and seventh in both the mixed 200 IM (2:29.64) and mixed 100 IM (1:09.31).
