Betty J. (Smyth) Betts, 86, of Lakewood, passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 15, 2019 at Lakewood Assisted Living Center.
Born May 10, 1932 in Lakewood, to Francis and Ida (Schuett) Smyth, she loved to travel and visited Mexico, Canada, Brazil, England and Ireland. She lived in Silver Cliff, Sturgeon Bay, Long Beach, Ca. and Antigo and owned and operated the Pantry Restaurant in Lakewood from 1963 to 1975.
She is survived by a brother, Dan Smyth; five nieces, Cheri Spletter, Ginger Szykowny, Pat Conley, Donna Rebello and Roselle Smyth and three nephews, Vern Keesler, Jim Jackson and Lonny Jackson.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Allan Betts; a brother, Hugh Smyth and four sisters, June Peek, Micky Keesler, Fran Jackson and Eileen Conley.
Burial was in Forest Home Cemetery in Athelstane on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 11 a.m. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee assisted the family.
