Ruth Ann (Eggert) Moore, 98 of Peshtigo passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 at the Luther Home.
Born May 25, 1920 in Shawano, to the late Paul and Wilhelmina Eggert, she married Russell Moore In 1946 in Milwaukee and he preceded her in death in 1993.
She loved going to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed bible study. She also enjoyed walking, exercising, playing cards, and visiting with friends. A world traveler, she visited Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand and also enjoyed bus trips throughout the states. Her philosophy was "Keep busy, have a lot of fun and you'll have great memories".
Survivors include a daughter, Diane Shepard of Menominee and a granddaughter, Allison Shepard of Eau Claire.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; her siblings; a grandson, Russell and a son-in-law, Rev. Bill Shepard.
Visitation was held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peshtigo on Monday, Jan. 28 from 10 a.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dave Murphy officiating. Inurnment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park at a later date. Cadieu Funeral Home of Menominee is assisting the family with arrangements.
