Theresa M. (Giese) Lansin, 70, of Coleman, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, with family by her side.
Born Sept. 15, 1948, to the late Leonard and Elizabeth "Betty" (Merrill) Giese in Klondike, she married James Lansin on Jan. 17, 1970 and she enjoyed cooking and time with family.
Surviving are two sons, James (Melissa) Lansin and Edward (Heather) Lansin; four grandchildren; two sisters, Sara (Dennis) McKenney and Helen Giese-Schroeder; three brothers, August (Sharlene) Giese, David Giese and Frank Giese and many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James on Nov. 13, 1981and siblings, Bill Wontorski, Evelyn Giese, Crystal Dollhopf, Maggie Giese, Rosemary Giese, Fred Giese and Jack Giese.
The family greeted relatives and friends at St. Anne Catholic Church in Coleman on Tuesday, Feb. 26 from 9 a.m. until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Fr. Celestine Byekwaso officiated with burial in St. Leo Catholic Cemetery in Pound. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Coleman assisted the family with arrangements.
