James E. Buelteman, 70, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
Born Sept. 8, 1948 in Menominee, after graduation he served in the United States Navy for three years. On Nov. 18,1972 he married Elsie Dessart at Resurrection Parish in Menominee and worked at Marinette Marine for many years.
He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and being with his dog Chip, but mostly loved being with family and playing with his grandchildren who were the world to him.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie; four children, Aaron (Torri) of Menominee; Tracy (Zak) Ribar of Minneapolis, Mn. And Jared (Karie) and Derek and Amy (Tony) Getchell, both of Menominee; nine grandchildren; two sisters-in-law Carol (Bob) Casperson and Sheila Dessart; five brothers-in-law, Joe Dessart, Don (Korry) Dessart, Gary (Wanda) Dessart, Tim and Tom Dessart and many nieces; nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his in-laws, Harvey and Elaine Dessart; a brother-in-law, William Dessart and a nephew, Joel Dessart.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6 at Cadieu Funeral Home in Menominee from 4 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 6 p.m., with Pastor Archie Roberts officiating.
