Robert J. Paidl, 84, of Wallace, Mi., passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Aurora Bay Care in Green Bay.
Born Nov. 7, 1934 in Milwaukee, to the late Andrew and Veronica (Major) Paidl, he graduated from Stephenson High School in 1952. After graduation he served in the United States Army. On Nov. 4, 1961, he married Rose Mary Allgeyer at Precious Blood Catholic Church.
A dairy farmer his whole life, he enjoyed hunting on his land, being a farmer and in the 1960's, was named outstanding farmer of the year.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Mary of Wallace; five daughters, Laurie (David) Isola of Kent, Wa., Denise (Jeff) Strazzinski of Hutchinson, Mn., Barbara (Mark) Sieltz of Pulaski, Julie (Greg) Harske of Menominee, Mi. and Debra (Leo) Evans of Joliet, Ill.; two sons, Robert and Scott Paidl, both of Wallace; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Sue) Paidl of Cedar River; two brothers-in-law, Henry (Carla) Allgeyer and Lenard (Ceal) Allgeyer, both of Menominee and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27 at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson from 3 p.m. until time of Military Honors at 5 p.m., followed by a Prayer Service with Jerry Piche officiating. Visitation will continue on Thursday, March 28 at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Stephenson from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Fr. Ron Timock will officiate with burial in Stephenson Township Cemetery.
