Eugene A. Dubey, 81, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Aurora Bay Care in Green Bay.
Born Nov. 14, 1937 in Nadeau, Mi., to the late Alex and Pearl (Le Beau) Dubey, he married Janet Murray on May 2, 1959 in Menominee, Mi. and she preceded him in death on Feb. 5, 2018. He worked as a mechanic and operated heavy machinery.
He enjoyed attending Porterfield Country Music Festival, wintering in Florida and working on and restoring his Model-T, but especially loved time at his camp deer hunting.
He is survived by a son, Mike (LuAnn) Dubey of Menominee; two daughters, Karen (Gary) Baidel of Perrysburg, Oh. and Mary (Bill) Van Domelen of Menominee; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Dennis Dubey of Menominee and two sisters, Alberta Semke of Salem, Or. and Harriet Barley of Menominee.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet; a daughter, Michelle and a sister, Rita Sharon.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Pullman House on Thursday, April 4 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee. Anderson Kell Funeral Home of Menominee is assisting the family with arrangements. Acts of kindness or sympathy can be directed to one of his children.
