Students Participate in Life After High School Day

Crivitz-Juniors and seniors at Crivitz High School spent a day learning life skills that will help them transition into life after highs school. Ms. Dahl from Bellin Health through a very hands on basic baby care class, students were also able to learn about home cleaning from Ms. Popp and New Life Organized, and rounding out the home skills lessons were Mrs. Krezwina and Mrs. Tomaszewski talking about basic cooking and sewing skills.
On the financial end of things, students learned about banking and loans from Nicolet National Bank and Ms. Bemis from Bemis Insurance talked to students about auto, renters, and basic insurance plans.
Mr. Crossman from the Crivitz Community Center talking about life fitness and what the community center has to offer for classes and opportunities. Mr. Taylor was able to show students basic car care skills and they were able to check all fluids and inspect their car for safe driving.
They finished the adult day training with community safety from members of the Crivitz Fire Department discussing fire safety and Lt. Jason Ducaine, from Marinette County Sheriff's Department, speaking on law enforcement 101.
They thank the community members for their help in educating students and helping prepare students to be successful community members after graduation.
