Roger W. Harris, 50, of Pound, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019 at the V.A. Hospital in Iron Mountain, Mi., after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born Nov. 19, 1968 in Elmhurst, Ill., to the late Ralph and Donna (Jacobi) Harris, he graduated from Crivitz High School in 1986 and served in the United States Marines from 1986 to 1991. He worked at Lindquist Machining in Green Bay for over 20 years.
He lived briefly in Appleton until moving to the Pound area and harvested logs from Michigan to build a log home. He enjoyed snowmobiling, ATV-ing and socializing with friends. A kind, respectful man of integrity, he was always there to help if needed.
His parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by a son, Steven (Abigail) Harris-Popp, South Daytona, Fla. and one grandson.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Coleman is assisting the family.
