CAWC Continue Area Donations

Crivitz Area woman's Club (CAWC) at a presentation night on Monday, June 10 presented donations to various tax exempt organizations that serve people in Crivitz and surrounding communities. The event was held at the Marinette County Elderly Services site in Crivitz. The club holds multiple fundraisers each year in order to raise funds for these donations. More than $20,000 was donated. Top: Jeanne Berthiaume, representing the CAWC, presents $1000 to Nate Stahl of The Oconto River Kids, which provides unique hunting and fishing experiences for children with life threatening illnesses and their families. The donation will help purchase a trailer for a tracked wheelchair and for taxidermy services. The money will help with the operations and maintenance budget. Bottom: The Haven of Hope Marinette Homeless Shelter, represented by Kathy Wall and Jackie Adderley, accepted a $1000 donation to their General Fund, from CAWC president Kathy Nowak, center. The donation will help replace a hot water heater.
