Joyce Marie (Lesperance) Seewald, age 95, of Coleman passed away on July 19, 2019 with her family by her side.
She was born to the late George and Mary Lesperance on May 3, 1924. She graduated from Coleman High School in 1943. After school she worked at Mirro Manufacturing in Two Rivers until she married the love of her life, Ralph Seewald on October 21, 1950. The couple lived in Coleman, raising their family on the 100 year old Seewald farm.
She enjoyed baking, dancing, gardening, playing cards and canning. She loved spending time with her family and loved cooking her famous "Pannycakes" for her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Ralph of 68 years; six children, Sandee Seewald, Karen (Dan) Frye, Carma Tress, Larry (Paula) Seewald, Jim (Brenda) Seewald and Mike (Kathy King) Seewald; 13 Grandchildren, Dathan Frye, Brittany (Joshua) Checki, Jessica (Ric) Mathias, Chad Tress, Jesse (Emily) Seewald, Mandy (Matt) Ruechel, Sara (Derek) Schimming, Joshua (Jackie) Seewald, Lacey (Nick) Kuchta, Kailey Seewald, Ashley Anne, Lyndsey (Ashley Sylla) Seewald and Trevor (Payton Barker) Seewald and 12 Great-Grandchildren, Jayden, Taylor, Katie, Cameron, Parker, Levi, Emily, Francesca, Mattie, Eli, Josslyn and Jaxon; one brother, Bernard (Pat) Lesperance and six sisters, Betty Lesperance, Violet Kowalczyk, Marie Boulanger, Carol (Lyle) Ausloos, Janice (Gale) Wogsland and Marlene Kortbein and many nieces; nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jarod Tress; five brothers, Lester, Leonard, Clement, Francis and Donald and five sisters, Dorothy, Lorraine, Bernice, Joan and Shirley.
The family would like to thank Unity Hospice for their loving care and support for their mother, Vikki McDonald for her care and support of Joyce and a special Thank You to Sandee for years of loving care.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Saint Anne Church in Coleman on Saturday, July 27 from 9-12 noon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 noon with Father Felix Abano officiating. Joyce will be laid to rest at St. Johns Cemetery. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Coleman is assisting the family wth arrangements.
