West Shore Fishing Museum is both a Michigan Registered Historic Site and a part of the Great Lakes Fisheries Heritage Trail. It displays five commercial fishing boats including the fully restored gill net boat Kate A. and the more modern trap net boat Mary Kay.
There is no admission or parking charge. Most of the museum and grounds are handicapped accessible. It is located off Highway M-35 at Bailey Park, 15 miles north of Menominee or 7 miles south of Cedar River. Drive into Bailey Park and then go north on the shady lane into the museum grounds.
