Curtis G. Larsen, 89, of Wallace, Mi., passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019.
Born July 9, 1930 in Menominee, Mi., to Albert and Ruth Larsen, he graduated from Stephenson High School and received a degree from Michigan Tech, where he graduated with honors. He worked on the family farm in Wallace, where he had one of the most productive dairy herds in the Upper Peninsula. He married Joyce C. Peterson and they had two sons.
Not only did he have a career in the dairy business, but he also was a successful Corporate Executive managing in both Aerospace and Manufacturing Industries. He loved tennis and golf, enjoyed playing pool and cards with friends and time in the woods enjoying nature.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; two sons, Scott (Ama) and Kent (partner, Brett Goede); four granddaughters; a sister, Helen; a brother, Richard; a brother-in-law, Dan Peterson and a sister-in-law, Joanne Pearson.
His parents preceded him in death.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery, 1401 Memorial Drive, Menominee. Donations in support of Dementia/ Alzheimer's are preferred in lieu of flowers. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
