Bernard J. "Vann" Vann, 81, of Suring, passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2019 at The Bay at Suring Nursing Home, with his wife, Sandy by his side.
Born June 26, 1938 in Keshena, to the late Jesse and Lucille (Corn) Vann, he was raised there where he attended school. On Oct. 3, 1966, he married Sandy Hansen and they recently celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary with cake at the nursing home.
They lived in Milwaukee for 28 years where he worked in sewer construction and he was a proud member of the Laborers' Local Union #113 for 53 years. A hard worker, he loved his job and enjoyed hunting, fishing, going up North with the boys, the Senior Center, taking rides and eating out.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; two sisters, Joyce (Francis) Boivin and Maeda Loudbear; a brother, Jerry Vann and many other dear relatives and special friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 20 at Romy's Holiday Inn at Kelly Lake from 12 pm until time of a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home of Suring is assisting the family with arrangements.
