Perry Sohr, 63, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born March 18, 1956 in Daggett, Mi., to Edna (Lee) and the late Peter Sohr, he graduated from Stephenson High School in 1974 and from Northern Michigan University (NMU) in 1979. He worked at Ansul Co. for 35 years until retiring in January 2019.
He enjoyed hunting, being in the woods, watching the animals around his pond and loved the companionship and comfort of his pets.
Survivors include his mother, Edna Sohr; five sisters, Valerie (Dan) Parrish of Carney, Mi., Arlette (Tony) Lindstrom of Wallace, Mi., Leanne (Burt) Truitt of Stephenson, Mi., Sandra (Jeff) Swanson of Marinette and Lynette (Ray) Mathias of Oconto; a brother, Francis (Kathy) Sohr of Menominee; many nieces and nephews and a very close friend, Sandy Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Peter and three nephews, Troy Parrish, Tim Sohr and Jason Truitt.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 27 at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson from 1 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 3 p.m., with Pastor Kit Bogan officiating. A memorial fund is established and acts of kindness or sympathy can be directed to a family member.
