Judith "Judy" A. Jandt, 82, of Pound, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2019 with her daughter by her side.
Born Aug. 10, 1937, to the late John and Sara (Jenkins) Kingston, she graduated from Hartland High School in 1955 and attended UW-Stout for Fashion Marketing. On Aug. 16, 1958, she married Robert Jandt at Congregational Church and they lived in Hartland for many years, where she worked as the Village Treasurer.
While in Hartland, she was an active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. In May 2002, they moved to their retirement home on Underwood Lake where she was an active member of Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Suring and served on various Church committees. She was also involved with the Kelly Lake Sportsman's Club and enjoyed golfing, time outdoors, gardening, watching the birds and taking care of nature.
She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer; a sister, Kitty Kingston (Chris Jockheck); first cousins, Sue Ellen (Keith) Beauregard, Jeanne (Joe) Koch and Jacquie Johnson and other relatives and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Fred Mai officiating. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home of Suring is assisting the family with arrangements.
